ENGINEERING

LAER Staff is made up of engineers and technicians with an experience ranging from 5 to 20 years. LAER has gained experience and specific skills in the industrialization of aeronautical products, supporting customers in the development phases and up to the production of aeronautical parts, through the design of the entire production line from the single detail up to the realization of large structural assemblies such as fuselages or sections of them, ensuring full compliance with the project and quality requirements.

MECHANICS

The high degree of professionalism of the technicians of our CNC Department and the sophisticated technology of its machinery, allows us to produce parts that meet the technical standards required by the aerospace industry.

SHEET METAL

The long and consolidated tradition in sheet metal processing characterizes the experience and expertise of the workers, especially in the calibration of the panels.

THERMAL TREATMENTS

The department dedicated to heat treatments consists of furnaces for the treatment of aluminum alloys and steel alloys.

NON DESTRUCTIVE CHECKS

The high quality and safety factors, typical of the aeronautical product, are guaranteed through the execution of Non-Destructive Tests, carried out with the use of certified measuring devices for the purpose.

GALVANIC TREATMENTS

To ensure the necessary resistance to corrosion of the parts produced, they are protected by galvanic treatments. The treatments (chemical and electro-chemical) of colored chemical conversion, anodic-chromic oxidation, anodic-sulphoboric oxidation and chemical milling on aluminum alloy parts.

PAINTING

The painting is carried out in a system consisting of a painting booth (with control of relative humidity and air temperature), a drying chamber and a drying oven and forced circulation of air.

LABORATORY

The internal laboratory, equipped to conduct the necessary chemical analyzes and in-process tests (including salt spray tests), is in support and at the service of the Special Processes.

COMPOSITES

In 2009 LAER inaugurated the Acerra production site, the structure is completely dedicated to the processing of composite material with the traditional process, in autoclave, and Out Of Autoclave.

PIPING

The Department is organized for the forming of pipes for both hydraulic and aeronautical systems tires.

ASSEMBLY

Our assembly lines extend over an area of 10.000 square meters.
